-1/17/06- Sorry, I haven't updated this in a billion years. But you probably know that Benny for Mayor broke up like 5 months ago. Grant is off being a bro and doing absolutly nothing, AJ is off doing guys, and me and Geoff started a new band with Kyle Madero (origional guitarist of BFM) and Eli Kellogg. We're called FENTRUCK and we are freakin going to save the world, for real this time. Keep  checking www.myspace.com/fentruck for more info on shows and such.

-6/16/05- So while Geoff's gone, our good friend Aaron Gomez will be filling in on bass. We've got a new show on July 13 at the Hard Rock Cafe, come check it out.

-6/12/05 - If you came down to Unit J the other night, we'd like to say thank you. We had fun and we hope you did too. If you saw us and heard the new song, tell us what you think of it, we'd appriciate it. Anyway, that show marked are beloved bass player Geoff's last night in California for 5 weeks. He's down in St Louis going to summer school at a college. So as you read this, he's probably gettin it on with some college girl (go Geoff!) We're working on some more shows. - 5/24/05 - Thank you for comming down and supporting us on Saturday at Golden Valley (even if we only got to play 3 songs), it ment so much to us. Big thanks to I Hate Kate for cheering us up afterward about the whole thing, they rocked, you should check them out. Anyway, we're playing somewhere in Ventura on Saturday with our good friend and producer Dennis Wetzel's band. Not sure where it is exactly, check the SHOWS section a little bit later for more info. More shows comming soon.

 - 5/12/05 - BIG ASS NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a huge show comming up on Saturday, May 21. Not only are we playing with some sweet local bands, but we are playing with some sweet local bands called Driven, Rue, A Weekend Flight, and Fractional, and if that wasn't big enough, the show is being headlined by SMILE EMPTY SOUL! I know, that's tight isn't it? It's at Golden Valley High School and we go on at 4:45 PM. We'll have CDs. Come check it out so you can go up to your friends who didn't go and be all, " I saw Smile Empty Soul on Saturday, and there was this one band that played before them with a hot drummer called Benny for Mayor and they were SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!" and they'll be all "Really? How good were they?" And then you pop in your recently-purchased BFM CD ( A Hero's Tale) and give them a taste and then they're all like "WOW! They are good! I should tell 3 people to tell 3 more people about Benny for Mayor" and so on, like in that one movie with that kid from The Sixth Sense. But seriously, it's gonna be awesome and you should come. And, I have a girl friend (woot!!!)

 - 4/21/05 - We're not playing the BBQ anymore, it was pushed back to 5:00 and shortened to 30 minutes long, so we decided it wasn't worth it. On the plus side, we will be playing Wednesday the 27th at SCOTY (Saugus Car Of The Year) at Saugus High around 5:30.

                         On Friday, April 22, between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, we will be playing at a bbq at Saugus

                         High School before the Powder Puff game. So come and watch us, eat a burger, hang out,

                         and if you haven't bought the CD yet, we'll have some there too. See you Friday.

-     3/28/05  -   We would like to  thank everyone that came to see us the Hard Rock Cafe. Thanks for making as big as it was and making it rock.  New pictures from the show are now updated in the photo section. 

-     2/25/05 - Our 7 song EP "A Hero's Tale"  is all done and is up for sale NOW!!!  You can purchase the cd from any of us.  We are really pleased  with the way that it turned out. We put a lot of work into this and we hope you enjoy it!!!  We made this CD for all of you!!!
